'Run to Walmart' shoppers say after finding viral perfume set - it's a perfect dupe for luxury brand

WALMART has stocked up on holiday fragrance sets including a $30 option that's a dupe for a $250 luxury scent.

The big-box store seems to be the spot to find affordable options for pricey items.

On TikTok, Emma Force (@boujeefindsofficial) shared a Dossier perfume giftset she found at the store for just $30.

Dossier is a fragrance company that makes affordable dupes of best-selling luxury scents like Viktor & Rolf's Flowerbomb and Yves Saint Laurent's Black Opium.

In the video, Force shows a large display of perfume sets including ones from Ariana Grande and Sabrina Carpenter.

"I was also able to find these Dossier sets which I've never tried before, but I've heard such good things about their fragrances," she said.

"Run to Walmart!" she wrote in text over the clip.

The three-piece set has scents inspired by popular Tom Ford's Lost Cherry, Tobacco Vanilla, and Soleil Blanc perfumes.

The retail prices for the scents are $250, $185, and $185, respectively, for one-ounce bottles.

Dossier's set is just $30.

However, it isn't listed on Walmart's website. Shoppers should call their local store before heading over to see if they have it in stock and if the price varies.

Online, Walmart shoppers can get full-sized Dossier perfumes for $26 or more depending on the scent.

A BRIGHT OUTLOOK

Walmart's CEO Doug McMillon offered an optimistic view for shoppers next year as inflation slows.

He said lower grocery prices may be on the way as “next year’s a different story.”

This announcement came after the Fed announced inflation had cooled to 3.1% over the past year — a significant drop from the June 2022 peak of 9.1%.

Decreasing gas prices were a huge factor in the drop as prices dropped 6% from the previous month and 8.9% since last year.

However, American consumers spent 0.2% more on food in the past month and 2.9% more than a year ago.

Cereals and bakery products saw the largest increase with a 3.4% rise over the year.

Consumers had some relief with produce and meat prices with a 0.4% and 0.1% increase, respectively.
